Iona Verity is a Blackpool-based Costume Maker who has just completed a BA(Hons) Performance Costume degree at Edinburgh College of Art. She is now embracing the beginning of her career as a freelance costume maker and hopes this will lead to some fun and exciting projects. 

For her degree show she created a costume for a stage show version of Mary Norton’s ‘The Borrowers’ set in 1940s Scotland. Bringing to life the character Spiller, an explorer of the outside world, and displaying everyday items from the perspective of the tiny characters.
